作曲家、梅本佑利の《ミサ曲》は、西洋の伝統音楽における器楽、日本のアニメ、インターネット・カルチャーにおけるサンプリング技法など、多種多様な表現が複雑に重なり合うアート・プロジェクトである。作品は、J.S.バッハの「ロ短調ミサ」（BWV 232）と同一の構成で作曲され、全楽章において、アニメ・ボイスで収録されたラテン語の典礼文がフィクスト・メディアとして扱われている。本作はこれまで、管楽器、弦楽器、鍵盤楽器、合奏など、さまざまな編成のために作曲されており、それらの編曲──再作曲を繰り返すことで、最終的には管弦楽曲とする構想である。本演奏会では、全27曲のうち、第1部と第2部から数曲を、ピアノとヴァイオリン、チェロで演奏する。また、今回はフランツ・リストの《詩的で宗教的な調べ》からいくつかの楽曲も併せて演奏する。

Composer Yuri Umemoto’s “Mass” is an art project that culminates in a complex array of expressions, blending instrumental traditions from Western classical music, sampling techniques inspired by internet culture, and influences from Japanese anime. The work follows the same structure as J.S. Bach’s Mass in B Minor (BWV 232), with Latin liturgical texts recorded in anime voices and presented as fixed media throughout all movements.

The piece has been composed and reimagined for various ensembles, including wind instruments, strings, keyboards, and mixed ensembles. Through repeated adaptation and recomposition, the ultimate goal is to complete it as a fully orchestrated work.

This concert will feature selected pieces from the first and second sections of the 27 movements, performed with piano, violin, and cello. Additionally, the program will include several pieces from Franz Liszt’s “Harmonies Poétiques et Religieuses.”
